Eye level is a term used in linear perspective where it is the same as the horizon line. This is the line on which two receding lines meet at a vanishing point.
Eye level also refers to the artist's viewpoint which is assumed to be a view on a level with that of the artist's eyes. Objects can be rendered from above, below or from the eye-level view.
