Rupert started doing photography in 1999, where he began documenting artworks for an art website. Very soon he started using photography to produce his own works of art for display on the same website. In 2006 he obtained a National Diploma in Photography at the Tshwane University of Technology. He does freelance work on a regular basis, and has had work published in leading newspapers and lifestyle magazines. He has participated in numerous art exhibitions and competitions.
