The theme predominating in my work is the struggle between the spiritual and the physical. The point of departure is the angelic or human form in the process of metamorphosis. The mediums I use are diverse. Some mediums are used for their symbolic significance - for instance caly and sand, the very stuff of which man is created.
I strive to create forms conveying the feeling of internal eternity, trapped within a constantly changing external organic form.
