South African Art Exhibition at Thompson Gallery, Guateng
E is for Enlightenment
Join us for an exhibition of 26 Letters : Illuminating The Alphabet.
If literacy is a vaccine for violence then don't miss this traveling exhibition all about the alphabet as way to start injecting our society with the inspiration to read and write.
This alphabetical art exhibition will not only illuminate the ABC but also remind you about the forgotten power of reading and writing. This enlightening project has already captured the imagination of international magazines such as ISTD Condensed and Fontshop. This exhibition will show you over 65 posters that cover the alphabet from A to Z, each one conceived by unique writer and designer partnerships and designed to show you the alphabet in a whole new light.
Come along to find the letter with your name on it.
Also, hear John Vlismas stand up in defense of the alphabet and how funny words really can be and listen to open mic poetry by Sipho Ludonga.
