Left of November features new paintings by two talented Durban based artists. Vaughan-Evans' trademark is her well worked, mirage-like paintings in gesso and oil on board. This is Donaldson's first exhibition in Cape Town; she works primarily in oil on canvas. This exhibition has a short run, not to be missed!

In The Exploits of the Incomparable Shamila, showing from 1 April through 2 May, Christopher Slack confronts media chicanery. In 2001, Slack began producing work informed by the “War on Terror” media epidemic that ensued after the 9/11 attack. Shamila’s character emerged from that maelstrom.
