have been painting for 18 months. I have just been awarded second place in the Nivea Art Award 2007. I recently found out my grandmother's uncle was Jan Toorop the first Dutch symbolist and impressionist painter - so I think that is where my art comes from. I study with Mark Philips a South African artist from KZN.
